We are delighted to announce that Dr Jaideep Sengupta will be joining Momentum Counselling from 10 July 2026.
As Momentum Counselling continues to grow, we remain committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based support for individuals, couples, and families in Hong Kong. We are excited to welcome Jaideep to our team and to expand the range of experience and expertise available to our clients.
Jaideep brings a unique combination of counselling expertise, academic achievement, and real-world experience to his work with clients. He has earned a Master of Counselling, a PhD in Management (with a background in Psychology) and an MBA, and has spent more than 25 years working as a university professor and mentor.
His extensive experience helping people navigate challenges, transitions, relationships, and personal growth gives him a rich understanding of the complexities people face in both their personal and professional lives.
His counselling approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman Method principles for couples. Jaideep is passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
At Momentum Counselling, we believe that finding the right counsellor is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. Every client is unique, and adding another experienced practitioner to our team allows us to better match clients with a counsellor who suits their individual needs and goals.
